IMPORTANT
Internal Movement process must be completed a day before your actual movement. All outstanding dues must be cleared before the internal movement. Please note that truck movements are only allowed between 1.00PM and 6.30PM.
Internal movement process can be completed on myGate app and no visit to the office will be required.
If you are using myGate app, first do the move-out from the current flat by paying the move-out fees and then submit the move-in form to the new flat without payment.
If you choose to, you can visit the GOA office and submit the internal movement form as well. Download the internal movement form or collect it from the GOA office.
Settling the accounts by credit/debit card in GOA office will attract bank fees.
Owner
Owner to submit the following documents:
- Copy of Sale Deed for new flat
Pay intermal movement charges of Rs. 2500.
In case of internal movement through myGate app, the security passcode will be shared directly to your email for the move-in flat. If you submitted internal movement at the office, collect receipt and security pass to allow entry of packers & movers.
Tenant
Owner of Moving-out flat to first notify GOA office, from registered mail ID in myGate or Apnacomplex, about the date of move-out and confirmation that any pending dues will be cleared by the owner.
Owner of Moving-in flat to send lease agreement to GOA office from registered email ID in myGate or Apnacomplex.
Tenant to submit the following documents to GOA office:
- Lease Agreement for Moving-in flat
Pay internal movement charges of Rs. 2500.

Single tenant moving into a multi-tenant flat (flat already occupied by other tenants)
Owner of Moving-out flat to first notify GOA office, from registered mail ID in Apnacomplex, about the date of move-out and confirmation confirmation that the flat continues to be occupied by other tenants.
Owner of Moving-in flat to send lease agreement to GOA office from registered email ID in myGate or Apnacomplex
Tenant to submit the following documents to GOA office:
- Lease Agreement for Moving-in flat
Pay internal movement charges of Rs. 2500.

Next steps after the internal movement process is complete
In case of manual form submission, remove the details from myGate for the flat that you are moving out from. Likewise, ensure you are registered on myGate for the flat you are moving in to.
It is mandatory to register on MyGate, register your pets and collect parking stickers to the move-in flat. For the move-out flat, if the stickers are stolen or destroyed, resident will have to give an undertaking in writing about the lost stickers.
Important: If the tenant moves out without completing move-out formalities, any pending dues will need to be cleared by the owner. Penalty will be levied against the flat for un-authroized move-out detected later.
